What are your climbing goals?
Depends haha! Short term I want to get good enough to tackle 5.13s. long term my hope is to inspire a new generation of outdoor climbers and teach them how to climb safely and be better than me. Maybe even hit some of Chris Sharma’s routes one day!

Most memorable climbing experience?
I have a lot of them, but the most recent one is when I brought out a bunch of my friends for their first time to climb, their excited and scared, and I’m up there with them just chilling, waiting, helping them when they freeze up and coaching them to go higher, seeing them physically overcome that fear that you can see in their face, and the accomplishment on their faces when they top out and see the view is pretty much the best for me.

What do you like most about MyClimb?
I love being able to see how much I actually put into climbing, it helps me a ton in gauging my goals, pushing my limits and it’s nice seeing the different areas people climb in, I am predominantly an outdoor climber so it’s great to see the local crags people go too, but it’s super cool to see the hundreds of gyms people go too as well and the large community that our sport has.

What do you enjoy most about climbing?
Beside the thrill and pushing myself and all that, I enjoy teaching people.

How did you start climbing?
I began like most people in a local gym when I was 15 or 16.  I learned to climb outdoors through my university’s outdoor activities program and have been climbing outside ever since.

Favorite Climbing Discipline?
Sport climbing hands down, I dabble in bouldering and it’s fun, but I’d love to get into trad climbing.
